At DERBY DANCE & MUSIC ARTS, we motivate dancers and musicians of all ages and abilities to work with JOY!  All training is based on the careful progression of knowledge and exercises.  The student must first mentally understand the information and then express this new knowledge physically.  Each dancer and musician is unique and learns in a different way and at a varied pace.  We emphasize that each student should strive for excellence, not mediocrity.  Classes are kept small to enhance the flow of learning and in dance classes, to ensure the physical safety of each dancer. We offer an extensive dance program on the recreational level for ages 3 through adult with emphasis on knowledge, safety and fun!  Our 9-month  program now includes MUSIC to build on our MISSION in the ARTS COMMUNITY.  Class offerings change, so check our schedule often!
