ARGENTINE TANGO: This exotic style is a wonderful way to learn lead and follow without routines or rhythms.  The patterns and timing of Argentine Tango free the couple to create their own dances and truly "focus on your partner" to build a deeper dance connection. This form of dance is performed very close, therefore, this class is open to adults only.

BALLET: We use the French style of training with emphasis on each dancer's body and abilities to learn in a safe, informative atmosphere.  All levels are offered from age 9 through adult with special programs for 3-8 year olds.  A progressive syllabus for each class is used to insure quality instruction and continuity in the studio.

BALLROOM: Lead/follow partner dancing is a great fun way to meet and dance with new people. We present a new dance each week for 4 weeks. Check the master schedule for current offerings. Single dancers are welcome to sign up as well as couples.

BELLYDANCE
: A safe, natural form of dance suitable for all body types because it enhances the self-esteem of women of all ages.  The class begins with a warm-up using isolations and basic steps.  It continues with veils, zill work, choreography and costume information into intermediate levels.  Performance opportunities are available for interested, committed dancers.

BOLLYWOOD: Bollywood is an adaptation of traditional Indian Dance for the silver screen. Colorful and lively, this form of dance is considered a theater art. Basic work in shapes, rhythms, mudras (hands), arms, character facial work, language and story telling is all presented by our classically trained instructor.

CABARET HIP HOP:    A fun, high-energy Hip Hop style that uses current music, trends and moves - but with a jazzy "twist"!  Fluid movements and sassy style make this a great class for the female beginner.  ADULTS only, please!

COMPANY CHOREOGRAPHY: This class will support the Ballet Company production - dancers are auditioned in Sept. for a March performance.

FLAMENCO:
This dance class covers the basic styles of gypsy, flamenco theatro and regional folk dance.  Dancers will receive instruction in braceo (arms), floreo (arms), zapateado (feet) and will learn classical dance forms that build into tangos and sevillanas.  Castenets class is highly recommended for dancers taking flamenco.

HIP-HOP: A fun, high-energy class that uses current music trends and moves.  Originating on the streets of New York, dancers learn the basics of hip-hop as well as exciting warm-ups, orginal movement, exciting combinations and choreography. Classes are offered for students aged eight years and older.

HIPPITY HOP:
A fun class for ages 5-7 that presents the basics of dance plus all the fun moves a youngster yearns to show off!  This class is part of the 4-month program.

JAZZ:
Based on ballet structure, the jazz program presents classic training designed by Bob Fosse, Gus Giordano, Luigi and Matt Mattox.  Barre and center warm-ups are followed by floorwork, turns, jumps and combinations.  Jazz is combined with tap and is offered for ages 7 and older.

JAZZY TOTS:
This new class for 4-5 year olds will build upon pre-ballet movements and add rhythmic moves to upbeat music that gets younger dancers jumping and having fun.  A great pre-requisite for our jazz and tap program that begins at age 6.

LYRICAL:
Lyrical is a combination of ballet, jazz and modern with a fluid, continuous style.  Our  program offers several options for dancers ages 9 and up with skill levels ranging from from beginner to advanced. Lyrical 2 level requires previous experience in ballet and jazz.
